Shrinks the channel rows to fit more on small rugged screens.

ON = clearer overlapping speech, no ducking when several people talk at once. Use with headphones/earpiece only — on a speaker it will echo / feed back.

⚠ Use wired earphones. Bluetooth adds delay to the sidetone, and a speaker will feed back.

Loudness of the spoken channel name / “latched” / “muted”. Per-group listen volume is the 🔊 slider on each channel.

Turn off if you're on a speaker in a quiet room. Can also be mapped to a hardware button below.

Forces routing in the installed app. Bluetooth uses the headset mic (HFP) — lower latency options: wired or USB-C.

Assigned buttons below work regardless. Rugged mode additionally repurposes the volume keys as the listen-level control — turn ON for rugged handsets, leave OFF on normal phones so volume behaves normally.

Tap a role, then press the button / turn the knob on the device. The channel marked 🎙 PTT is what the side button keys.
